About the name. “Stobox Terminal” is the product name of this software. Stobox does not operate a trading venue: it does not hold your assets, take custody, accept or match orders, or act as your broker. You sign every transaction yourself, and it settles in public liquidity pools operated by third-party protocols.
stbu.stobox.io is a self-custodial software interface. Stobox does not hold user assets, accept orders, match trades, list securities, or operate an exchange, ATS, or brokerage. Swaps execute in on-chain liquidity pools operated by third-party protocols and are routed via the 0x aggregator.
STBU is a utility token, not a security. Two things it does: pay for Stobox services at a 10% discount on the list price, and trade in the Stobox pool, where your volume and in-range liquidity count toward the badge tier that sets your fee. Holding STBU by itself earns nothing. The 250M cap is a supply parameter, not a forecast.
B20 tokenized stocks are issued by Coinbase, not Stobox, with custody at Alpaca Securities, and are available only outside the United States. Prospectuses: base.org/stocks ↗.
Stobox deployed the STBU pool and provides part of its liquidity. Fee discounts are a loyalty feature of the STBU utility token. Any wallet can trade the pool directly at the base rate – discounts apply through this interface.
